About this place
When an afternoon calls for unhurried downtime, hot coffee alongside straightforward sweets hits just the right note. Operating on the 1th floor of an apartment building in Katsushika's Shiratori neighborhood, Mincafe serves aromatic coffee sourced from Timor-Leste, noted for its mild acidity and approachable price point. Slices of Earl Grey yokan—a firm red bean jelly infused with bergamot fragrance—and silky panna cotta make natural companions to each cup.
The cafe works just as well for lunch. Midday offerings include accessible cafe meals such as a house keema curry and meat sauce spaghetti. The beverage selection extends beyond coffee to Ceylon black teas from Sri Lanka alongside herbal infusions such as lemongrass and shell ginger.
Open on Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons, Mincafe provides a welcoming neighborhood spot to recharge with a hot drink and a simple dessert.
